If I lose power in my home, will I still have phone service?
YES! IDT’s home phone service uses regular phone lines not household electrical power like cable. As long as your telephone service was not disabled during a power outage you will be at ease knowing you can still make and receive calls from your home phone.
What’s the benefit of signing up for the DISH Network 24 month program?
You will be saving $180 by signing up for the 24-month plan. Plus the $99 activation fee will be waived, you will get HBO free for 3 months and you’ll receive the DISH Protection Plan, a $5.99 a month value, for FREE for the first 9 months
When will I get an appointment for the DISH Network TV installation?
An agent will contact you within 1-2 business days to set up the DISH Network installation appointment (if Thursday, then you will be contacted on Sunday or Monday). The appointment will usually be within a week’s time. You will speak to a Customer Service agent that will schedule your appointment on a date and time that works for you.
What will my price be for DISH Network if I am ordering it by itself (as a single play)?
The price will be dependent on the programming, features and premiums chosen. Programming starts at $24.99.
Do I have the ability to manage my own account easily and instantly whenever I want?
YES! In addition to receiving paper bills, you can also access your account through the
IDT My Account center. DISH Network online Customer Service or via DISH Home Interactive TV on Channel 100 which offers numerous self-help tools such as paying your bill, adding programming, setting up AutoPay, viewing current and previous billing statements and more. By having a separate bill from DISH Network, you will have the ability to manage your account, including billing and programming from the comfort of your own living room, right through your TV. It’s so easy!
I’m ready to switch to IDT’s Double Play but I currently have cable TV. Should I cancel it before switching?
No. Please wait until the DISH Network TV is active and then cancel your cable TV.
