Newark, NJ, August 25, 2004 – IDT Corporation (NYSE: IDT, IDT.C), a multinational telecom, entertainment and technology company, today announced that WMET 1160 AM, its owned and operated radio station in Washington, D.C., has upgraded its signal to 50,000 watts. The upgrade will extend the reach of the station’s signal from Richmond, Virginia to Baltimore, Maryland. The signal upgrade took effect July 12, 2004.
